Frequently asked questions

Visit the Membership page and complete the application form. Our team processes applications within 48 hours. Three plans are available: Student (free), Professional (50,000 FCFA/year) and Institutional (on request).
ASOI is open to anyone with an interest in metrology and instrumentation. For the Professional plan, a university degree (minimum Bachelor's level) or professional experience in a scientific field is generally required.
Professional and Institutional members can submit their work via the Knowledge Hub. Publications go through a peer review committee. The review period is 4 to 8 weeks.
Yes, the Business & Innovation Pole supports members in commercialising their inventions through OAPI. This service is available to Institutional members.
ASOI organises monthly workshops, a biannual seminar and an annual conference (ASOI Summit). The next Summit will be held in Dschang from 12 to 14 June 2026.
